I was delighted to receive the Highly Commended award for my acrylic painting, Tunnel II, at this years Milburn Prize from judge Renai Grace, Director of the Museum of Brisbane. The official opening took place at the Brisbane Institute of Art, Windsor, Brisbane on Friday 27th April 2018.
Extremely grateful to receive a Certificate of Merit for my digital work, Story, at this years Moreton Bay Region Art Awards from judge Bruce Heiser. The opening and awards announcement took place at Strathpine Community Centre, QLD on Friday 18th May 2018. Well done to the joint overall winners Simon DeGroot and Sam Scoufos.
Borrowed Landscapes at Graydon Gallery, New Farm , Brisbane, will include a range of acrylic paintings and large digital prints. My first show outside of awards exhibitions and with only two other artists, Michelle van Pelt and Skye Mescall, so very excited to be involved!
I was really happy to be involved with the first Southside Art Market, in Morningside, Brisbane on Sunday 20th November. The event showcased 30 local artists with a variety of small and large scale prints, paintings and drawings. I'm looking forward to the next scheduled event in April!

I was delighted to find out that my acrylic painting, Tunnel, has been selected as a finalist for the 2016 Callen Art Award. The official opening of the finalist exhibition took place at the Cowra Regional Gallery in NSW on Saturday 30th April. It was a great event and the quality of the work was exceptionally high with Tania Mason and her work, Irregular Plasma, taking the overall award.
I was excited to find out that my acrylic painting, Inorganic Organic, has been selected for the 2016 Milburn Prize. The official opening took place at the Brisbane Institute of Art in Windsor, Brisbane, on Friday 29th April. The exhibition of finalists runs until 13th May so please go take a look!
I was fortunate enough to win the overall category of the 2015 Brisbane Artforce Awards at a ceremony held in Brisbane City Council on Monday 8th February. My entry, entitled 'Growth' was painted over severall weeks of September 2015 and is located close to Customs House in the CPD. A long standing ambition, this was my first pained Traffic Signal Box (TSB), part of a public art program I have greatly admired for many years.
